You can now find region-specific phenomena and foresight radars on Futures Platform that will help you understand the key changes, developments and trends emerging from different parts of the world.
As part of our Countries & Regions theme, Futures Platform's team of futurists have created three new foresight radars that analyse region- and country-specific trends and changes in different parts of the world. You can now find the following radar templates in your Futures Platform account:
- Region Radar: Asia-Pacific, Australia & China (APAC)
- Region Radar: Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA)
- Region Radar: North & South Americas

Although most trends can be observed globally, their development paths and impacts often play out differently in different contexts. With these in-depth regional radars, we aim to help our clients better understand location-specific dynamics and operational contexts.
The phenomena analysis and scenarios included in the radars have been created through an intensive, months-long research process undertaken by Futures Platform's content team to identify the key changes, trends, emerging issues and challenges that are shaping or shaking the future of named regions. All continents are well represented in the radars. China, the US, North America, and the EU have their own dedicated radar sectors, reflecting their significant global impact.

How to access the radars
To access the new regional radars as an editable template and start collaborating with your team, follow these steps:
- Click the "Create a new radar" button on the Radars page or the Groups section on the Lounge to open the radar creation wizard.
- In Step 1. of the wizard, select the "Prefilled" option from the "Prefilled content" dropdown menu.
- In step 2, type in the name of the radar that you want to open into the search bar and select it.
- Open the radar, and start customising it to your needs!
If you do not have the capacity to open new radars within your license, you can contact your dedicated Customer Success Manager to purchase additional radars or upgrade your plan.
